If you’re an avid comic book movie fan, chances are you heard Warner Bros’ recent announcement in which they revealed that ten new DC Comic-based movies are on the way. 2014 was packed with almost back-to-back Marvel releases, so this is a refreshing announcement that has many people thinking: just what have the rest of the studios got in store for us? Dylan Todd, of Comic Alliance, has listed approximately forty up-and-coming releases between the end of 2014 and 2020. Although 2015 may be a little sparse – with known releases limited to Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-man and a Fantastic Four reboot – things are really going to kick-off in 2016. We’re going to be seeing Deadpool (finally!), Batman vs Superman, Captain America 3, Sinister 6, and a whole load of others! After that we have Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Wonder Woman, Justice League, The Flash, Aquaman (yay?) and there are even rumors of a Gambit movie and female Spidey spin-off. Which of these comic book movies are you most looking forward to? Are there any comic book characters they’ve left out? Let us know!
